Situated in the Viking quarters of the city, Dublin Castle was built in the 13th Century. Now, it’s a government complex and a tourist attraction. There’s usually an event, exhibition or fair every weekend, including a winter wonderland during the Christmas season.

Dublin Castle is open everyday, from 9:45 to 17:45 (last admission at 17:15).

Although a university campus might not seem like the most romantic of settings, Trinity College is an exception. Dating all the way back to 1592, Dublin’s oldest university is situated on truly stunning grounds. 

The grounds are open to the public, so stroll through them on an Autumn day, taking in the cobblestones and grand buildings, for a memorably romantic afternoon.

Dublin Bus operates just outside the hotel with the number 4, 7 & 7A bus links as well as the Aircoach operating on this route.

Located just a 1-minute walk from the hotel, Booterstown Dart brings you directly into the city centre in 18-minutes or to Dun Laoghaire in 11-minutes, running every 15-minutes at peak times.

University College Dublin is one of the city's largest universities and is located just an 8-minute drive from the hotel or 25-minutes by bus. It is one of Europe’s leading research-intensive universities with 38 schools, 1300 faculty and over 24000 students.
