A must when visiting this restaurant is their homemade ice cream.

Jewel in the Crown 

Dublin’s longest standing Indian restaurant located just a minute’s walk from the RDS, it is ideally located in the heart of Ballsbridge. Jewel in the Crown offers an early bird menu which includes an appetiser and a main course. They offer an impressive range of Indian curries on their evening menu that range from sweet to sour and mild to hot. Kites Chinese Restaurant

When they first opened their doors thirty years ago, Kites caused a real flutter among the social and foodie set. Two stories of elegance, plush, comfort, and modernity characterise the restaurant’s style. Their menu features some exotic Asian delights such as dim sum style prawn dumplings, grilled spicy scallops on skewers, fresh crab claws, and grilled aromatic lamb for starters.

The Orchid Restaurant 

Orchid Restaurant at 120 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, has been a landmark establishment on the Dublin restaurant scene since 1986. During those years, they have consistently delivered modern, tasteful menus using local ingredients in season. When designing their menu, the Orchid has kept in mind Chinese cultural values that emphasise shared meals being an experience of tastes, fragrances, textures and colours. They also reflect the local area with two rugby set meals, both of which have their chosen dishes at a fixed price for customers to choose from.

Roly’s Bistro 

Roly’s hit the ground running since opening their doors in 1992 and haven’t stopped since. Their main goal was to provide Dublin with a bustling brasserie that has reasonably priced delicious food. Today Roly’s is much more than a bistro, they provide a unique dining experience to showcase their passion for Irish food with locally sourced ingredients only. The main highlight of this restaurant is their fabulous covered outdoor terrace. You can enjoy a meal while you people watch, winter or summer.
